Want to make Qatar green

By Dhingra

I feel I have a golden thumb , in simple words what ever I want to grow it grows . I want to make Qatar more green and I know it's possible . I like the way water is given to plants here in Doha . I have one more idea which I would like to share to the concern environment department .
I am not sharing it here on this forum because I do not want to miss the opportunity if provided to make Qatar a green jungle .
Good wishes to every one and grow more trees . .

Make an underground ducts for the waste water . Create a stone and sand pit around structures , let that water be part of the construction . Let things be connected like an underground streams . Over a period of time they will have a water table and I am sure trees will grow . This plan is possible only during the construction stage off a project . There is more to this plan of how to channelized water and the important human waste into fertilizer for the tres . I am sure this can be done . Qatar is spreading by leaps and bound . If planned properly for a green Qatar then it is possible .

I know some one will like this thought and give a technical trial run .

Do let me know If I lost the plot .

Good wishes always

Hope to see a green Qatar .

The Fremen used this method to extract water from teh air and store in underwater reservoirs.

One can also utilize body suits which colect, purify and recycle sweat and body excretions.

Coffee, a Qatari (!) has "invented" a device to extract the water contained in the air moisture, powered by solar cells. I am invited to the inauguration ceremony with the Emir. It's not always necessary to go to Israel.

Growing the most crop per drop of water is an Israeli specialty. With little rain and a hot desert sun as unforgiving as the Sahara, Israel’s high-tech researchers and farmers have combined their expertise to grow a cornucopia of salt-tolerant crops in dry desert conditions. People from hungry countries far and wide come to learn from Israel’s expertise.

The Saudis tried this and found that they had depleted their water table within two years.

Waste water can be used, but needs to be filtered and treated beforehand to avoid the spread of desease a nd allergies.

Deslinated water is very expensive and over desalinization can damage the eco systems in the sea / Gulf.
