Nature does not get angry. This planet is alive, and its forces, as in Hurricanes, Tsunamis , Volcano eruptions etc. are proof of that. It has happened this way since this planet came into existence and it will continue until the planet ceases to exist. As simple as that.

It's called plate tectonics so we do know why it happens. Predicting it is harder though.
