Wow, it would great to see a new Doha landscape soon.

Peepal, mango, sapodilla (chiku), gulmohar and tabebuia rosea (rosy trumpet) are among the 17 tree species (fully grown ones) that would be gracing the Doha landscape in the near future.

lets hope these tree get rooted here and bloom to the fullest.

where will they be planted? in wadi el sail east and west, and rumeilah? it will be a central park in the middle of doha:

from khalifa street (between tv r/a and oryx) till amiri diwan, and bidaa park!

Great News...hopefully i'll be able to climb a mango tree and eat its fruits...oh wait that will be illegal, carry a Qr. 10,000 fine or 40 years imprisonment.
