The dive community is leading the fight against marine debris. You know this issue isn't just ugly, it's a serious threat to marine life and human health.

This 24 September 2010, we need your help engaging volunteer teams for International Clean Up Day. On this day, thousand of divers and non-divers volunteers unite in over 100 countries for one shared cause for marine debris prevention.

We are in the process of selecting the dive site or areas and gaining necessary permission from the authorities responsible.

Your help/assistance is mostly welcome.

We will arrange from the MOE to collect it, when the data has been recorded.

There should be somebody to do something. These debris get commulated and it will require tremendous effort just to reduce it.

If we don't start now, when will it be? It's time to give back to the environment.

And usually those who do not create this debris, are the ones picking it up....and those who create it have the last laugh and can happily continue their work.....as they know others will make all nice and clean for them.

And what about the criminals who create the debris? Are they taken to court? Or can they continue freely? As long as that is the case, it's a Sisyphos work and it makes no sense.
