Heat Wave Expected in Doha Tomorrow

Doha, May 08 (QNA) - Qatar Meteorology Department has expected that the country would be affected by a thermal trough tomorrow, Monday, accompanied by southwesterly winds blowing from hot and dry desert areas, leading to a significant increase in temperature. The meteorology said the temperature would be between 47 and 44 degrees celsius, nine degrees higher than average, adding that it will be the first heat wave this year and it would recur during the coming months. The Meteorology Department calls upon all citizens and institutions to take caution during work under the direct sunlight and take the necessary measures to maintain safety. (QNA) LY

Today at 11am it was 39c, and the maximum was 39c as well...
Guess I'll not be going shopping tomorrow after all..suddenly staying at home seems very very exciting !
It was 44C in the shade yesterday, so what is expected is apparently not worse than what we have now....or is it and we are not told the right temp?
Like it NEVER gets up to 50 C....ya, sure.
