A global call by switching off our lights from 2030H to 2130H tonight.

If people are TRULY against Global Warming (If there really is such a thing) then they would change their lifestyles and not just turn off the lights for an hour.
"I am against global warming as long as other people are doing something about it while I carry own with my normal wasteful practices!!"
Simply a guilt release mechanism

its about seeing if people are actually against global warming and how many, and not about saving energy 4 an hour that would be simply useless. and the question ur asking is the same one i asked my self yesterday
I respect this initiative and participated, to a great extent (Left the fridge on), last year. It's good to raise awareness.
But this year, I’m revisiting the purpose of conserving energy for an hour, then resuming unfriendly environment habits throughout the year.
I'm not sure how the benefits are measured and how much power is being saved on that day, at each country’s local time.
Also, suppose a whole country, even a city or a small town switched off lights, and turned them back on almost simultaneously, would that affect circuits or cause any shortage somehow?
Many questions?

You can't teach experience...
