I noticed that when ever I visit any shopping mall in Doha, the outside support columns or pillars of these buildings are having a reddish pigments color, on inquiry I was told that people spit on it constantly, Is it good?

We can’t say spitting is a bad habit…spitting itself a nature’s call like some other things, but one has to be careful while spitting.. When and where…

Actually this bad habit is supposed to be jurisdiction of the Environmental Health department, who should ensure that basic convinces are made available mostly within the malls premises should one feels irritated by what he/she perceives and so desires to ease , that shld be done in the convenient room or a fine is levied on rule breakers within the mall.

is there a law against this horrid action?if they dont i shall ask them to pass my spit and spray control.anyone caught spitting and spraying bettelnut juice/eeeeky saliva will be made into human spitoons.that will teach them not to spit or spray their smelly saliva around doha.

The reddish color is by some thing called 'paan'. SEriously IRRITATING! Nothing is gonna change though. Saw Ghanim's 'Dont Urinate Here ' sign? :P

Perhaps it makes the pillars grow :)

I am sure that 90% of the ground in Doha is spit... gross. I have a mini heart attack everytime my toddler falls down or picks something up off the ground. Yuck.
