Clean Up Arabia 2010, an annual event spearheaded by the Emirates Diving Association.
The campaign, aims to raise public awareness on the hazardous effects of marine debris to health and marine environment.
The clean up activity will cover land and underwater of the Sealine Beach at Messaid. A force of approximately 50 volunteers, divers and non-divers, are expected to participate. Volunteers are mostly individuals who take heart in this worthy cause. Company volunteers, especially those who are situated in the coastlines or who have projects involving marine activities, are all welcome to join.
The earth is our home, it is our responsibility… we can make a difference.

I've been with local divers and they're much responsible of their environment.

Saudi arabia cleaninG up? It's a DREAM.
if the locals cared.... expats wont have any debris to clean!
local volunteers.
I have been to many of these volunteer cleenups. But have seen only the expats participate but not the locals. Are only the expats worried about the environment?
If the inconsiderate few did their bit and cleaned up after themselves this would not be necessary!
