Buying laptop through Amazon

Hi Everyone!

Had anyone of you tried to order a laptop or gadget amounting more than QAR 3,000 using Amazon? Did you pay any tax? If so, how much was it?

I've looked all over the net regarding this and I found one site saying there's a 5% legalization fee, while another is saying there's a QAR 300 tax charge for any imported item. I'm still confused as to what is true about this.
