It seems that u all agree Garmin is the best.. so i will go for it.. but where to find the best price and after sale service for it..? and , does it have maps for GCC, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon maps.. ?!!

Garmin is Good. I bought my garmin nuvi205w 18 months ago. i got a message in the unit that i need to update my maps. i also got an email to do so since my device was registered.
hence i went to their site and paid USD.149.99 and bought the maps and downloaded. when i went to update it tsaid that the maps i have is the latest.
which means there is no change at all. most of the new roads and intersections since 2010 are not updated.
So my advise is that you can buy it (since i do not know of any other device better than garmin), but dont pay to update maps coz you dont get any value addition for your money.
Also you cannot find a street by name. it will go on to ask for the rest of the address.

Garmin is the best! Am using Garmin Nuvi 1410 for last two weeks and it is really great. The only problem is that even 2011 maps are not up to date. Doesn't show Barwa Village, etc. in the map. All the best to join Garmin Gang!
