The screen goes black after being on one second. I think it is the inverter. Does anyone know of a repair shop here in Doha?

Check in Sofitel area, there even you can negotiate for getting new monitor in exchange to old monitor at less price.

every person who visit a computer shop will ask the price for repair and the new one, ultimately wl go fr a new one
Be careful, monitor produce very high voltage. As other people said, buy a new one, it is cheaper and safer.
Tips:Never ground yourself while working on monitor.
Instead of reapiring coast of your screen you can buy now days new one pls pls go for new one dont ask this type of Q atleast,
