when you access your flash drive, your LG TV will ask you whether you want to access movies, music or photos. You have to select the right type. After that only the relevant files will be visible.

If you select music, for example, it will only look for music files and even if there are other files, it will show the folder as empty.

You can also change the type of file you are looking for through the remote.

Another thing dude, if some files can read by your TV. ex. MP4 or mp3 or text file and your having problem only on playing the specific movie that you want in a certain format,. maybe the CODEC of your Video file is not recognized by it. or maybe you copied it broken!

try use other usb, maybe its ur USB Stick got issue. But, if u already tried it and still doesnt working try inserting or saving diff media types in your USB Stick ex. Mp3, MP4, Avi(xvid, divX), MKV, Vob, etc. and test if ur LED tv can scan it and read all the data inside the stick.

If not, maybe theres something in the USB Hub of ur TV or just you bought a CRAPPY SH*T Thing.

Cheer mate!
