Is there any hassle in bringing TATA SKY decoder from India.

I didnt have any hassles in bringing ..this was six months ago but ive been hearing rumours lately that their checking for it at the airport so just try to b careful.

If there are tall buildings in your area then they could come in between the line-of-site of the dish & the satellite in the sky thus preventing the receiver from getting the signals.

If you clear Qatar customs efficiently then there is no issue as such. there is no agents of TS in Qatar; I can provide contacts of a few technicians who could successfully install it.

Yeah a bit..If u r lucky, u will get clearance from CUTOMS...

One of my frd brought DECODER from INDIA..The agents at QATAR for TATA SKY will install the DISH..The DISH is quite big in size and so its obvious that u shldnt bring DISH from INDIA..Only DECODER..But the pblm is that sometimes TATA SKY doesnt get signal and u will be left with nothing..The agents give the reason like that DISH shld be installed at a very gr8 height so that it can get the signal very clearly..Evenif a small hindrance from the nearby tallest building will create problem...
