PUK code

I got this message on my cell fone which i only use to make international calls back home.
It reads PIN blocked: Enter PUK code.

Can anyone tell me what does this mean? How do i retrieve the PUK code.
Do i need to call Q-TEL for assistance.

PUK code is mentioned on the plastic card which you have initially removed your sim chip from when you purchased it, if u throw that card away then you can call qtel/vodafone to give you the code

Your sim has got a pin code and puk code for security purpose. If you use a wrong pin twice your sim will get blocked and in order to open that you should enter the PUK code given to you from Qtel with your sim card. If you lost the PUK also then contact QTel to for a new PIN and PUK but they will probably charge you.
