Lulu Electronics warranty only covers Service, Spare Parts excluded ???!!
I purchased a Blackberry 9810 last 4th of August 2012, now the phone already spoiled before 3 months of purchased.
All the Buttons (including 2 buttons on the top side) were not working. Only the touch screen is working well.
Every start up, it always gone to Safe Mode. Even I restarted it.
So I tried to call Lulu D-Ring Road Customer Service through land line to claim my 1 year warranty.
I was so shocked, that what Lulu CS staff said. Lulu only covers the Service Warranty (I am not sure what kind of service covered), but for the Spare Parts replacement we have to pay by ourself (Spare Parts not covered in Warranty).
Last 20th October 2012 I went up to Star Link booth in Doha to ask them what was my Blackberry problem.
After checked by their Technical Staff for 2 days, Star Link Staff replied me that my Blackberry has problem with Inner Liquid part (behind the front button, near touch pad). It was leaked & need to replaced.
The cost only QR50, but to replaced that thing they also need to replaced the Flexible cable cost me QR350.
Total damage was QR400.
Now my blackberry still in Star Link to replace the spoiled parts, but it cost me too much for the mobile phone age less than 3 months !!
How come Lulu Hypermarket only covers the (unknown) Service Warranty instead of Full Warranty including the spareparts ???!
Now I fed up to purchase any electronics from Lulu.
Always check whether warranty is there or not before buying. Apple iphones and BB sold by Lulu are always without warranty. That is why they are cheaper than the rest of the market.
Lulu is a Retailer for your phone and the warranty is from Blackberry. You should check with the Distributor/Agent of Blackberry who is supplying to Lulu.
