Is HP Laptop g6-1240 se has any manufacturing deffect?

I had purchased an HP pavilion g6-1240se Laptop from Dubai few months ago with serial no- 5CD1341S32. I didnt face any issue even when used from my qatar home.Now the laptop is carried to India,and when tried to use i could see a line in my screen after switching it ON.Since there is warranty i got it repaired.Again i found the same line (vertical line this time compared to horizontal last).
Iam getting few inputs from here that most of the hp laptop is facing the same issue as there is a different powersupply input given in india as compared to gulf.Is it true?
i could see that majority of people buy their laptops from abroad and even use from their native in India with out any issue.I have even seen my cousins and friends using several brands of laptops from gulf and using in india.

Can any one give your feed back who had the similar experience??

HP is good , but the only problem on HP is over-heating when I'm playing. It is 1gb videocard, 8gb but how could this happen to over-heat.
