I will go for it. The lens is 14.3 x optical zoom lens, F/28 (wide angle)-5.3 (telephoto)
Focal length f=7.1mm-101.5mm (35mm format equivalent:30.5mm-436mm)
It is cheaper comparing with other brands.
Hi, first of all, are you referring to a Fujifilm finepix? If so, I own a fujifinepix, S5200, (i'm not very sure about the number cos i bought it 3 years ago), and i must say it's a great buy. I dont know what it costs out here, cos i bought mine from China. About the product itself, well, depending on how much optical zoom you're looking for, the performance is even better. Mine's a 10X optical zoom, and the pictures are so freaking clear, im amazed at what the camera can do! If you're a nature photography freak, you couldnt find a better bet. I totally recommend the camera! 11 out of 10!

Fiji might be good but not well know out here, better put your money on the equivalent Sony cams...
