well if u are really a fan of western music or would like to listen to radio stations from your home country. i would prefer u try the two best softwares on your nokia phone if u have one.

1. Internet Radio.. u can listen to more than 10000 stations. add favourites, search by language, by country

and its easy. u can use your phone's Wifi or gprs connection. for more info and compatibility checkout this link

2. Virtual Radio or vradio

VirtualRadio brings Web radio stations to your phone: Turn your mobile phone into a Web radio player and enjoy music, talk and news from all over the world!

VirtualRadio connects to the Internet through your mobile phone operator's network and links to more than 1'500 radio stations from all over the world.

If you have a modern phone, you can directly connect to the Internet by using Wi-fi (WLAN or hotspots) and you can hear radio without being charged by your mobile phone operator. for more info.

97.5 is QBS, part English, part French, but even the English service is studded with Country & Western and Jazz so not good (unless you like listening to in-bred banjo players). Much better is Dubai english service, I think on 106, but reception is patchy. There's also the Bahrain service, I think 99.4 or somewhere around there, also better than QBS where the newsreaders dont even speak English and talk about 'Thigh-land' (Thailand). I also just found one called 'easy listening FM', can't remember exact bandwidth but arround 94 I think. Or get some good CDs!
