what do you want to use the LCD or LED for? if you just want to watch satellite tv or dvd movies then you dont really have to dig for features..just get anything from a reputable brand.
if you want to use it for watching blueray, play xbox/ps3, or any other 720p/1080p media, connect multiple devices then you need to look for more features like at least 3 hdmi connections, upscalling, native 1080p support, good contrast ratio, higher refresh rate and smaller response time..if all of this sounds alien to you then i guess you are just planning to upgrade from a normal TV to LCD/LED..just get anything that you like and suits your budget
