This is a friendly reminder to all of you who currently using an unlocked iPhone 3G or the 3GS – do not install the iPhone 3.1 update via iTunes. You will lose your unlock and it may be permanent. Again, do not update or install the iPhone 3.1 update 3.1 via iTunes. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR UNLOCK AND IT MAY BE PERMANENT.
