Where to learn new languages in Qatar

HBKU TII
The TII Language Center is a part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. They offer language training to adults, aged 18 and above, in five languages - Arabic, French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese. German and Italian will be added in spring 2017. They also offer certificates in Arabic, French, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish.

The French Institute
The Institut français of Qatar, the official French Institute, is the successor to the French Cultural Centre (CCF), founded in 1989. It is located in a detached villa in the West Bay district of Doha and of course, promotes the French language and culture. The programme of Institut français covers the entire field of cultural, artistic, literary, scientific, educational and linguistic cooperation through exhibitions, lectures, debates, films, concerts, dance, drama, etc.

Fanar
Fanar offers spoken and written Arabic language classes for levels 1 through 5 for men and ladies separately. The courses for each level run over three months roughly, with a frequency of twice a week. The courses are also very reasonably priced at QR 300 only. They do have a waiting list though, so you might want to register ahead.
