Nursery admission in Park House school

Hi,

I need some advice about nursery placement.

we moved to Qatar in March 2016.

one of my daughter has been offered a place in park house english school. Today we went to ask about a nursery place for my daughter ( age 3 years and 3 months). The school say that they wont consider application without having a report from previous nursery. I explained that children only start nursery at 3 and we came to qatar only in March. The registrar say that it is expected in Qatar that children go to nursey earlier on i.e before 3.

has anyone else experienced similar situation and have knowledge about admission rules.

I believe this might be the internal policy of that school. But i have never heard such a thing. This is not a rule here. All school conduct entrance test for Kindergarten, like coloring and rhymes..
