Figaro Coffee Company, is a popular franchise in its native home land of the Philippines. However, the franchise is now looking to make a statement in the Middle East, and with their lone Doha branch located in Bin Mahmoud, the future of Figaro is indeed a bright one. 

One visit to Figaro will already tell you that it sets itself apart from the more popular names in industry with its unique layout.

The branch takes advantage of its spacious setup, offering more than the usual coffee shop niceties. Sure, there are couches and Wi-Fi as would be expected, but what coffee shop offers a dedicated meeting room? Figaro does. Ideal for business meetings of 10-15 people, the secluded room is perfect for casual dining or coffee.

Yes, casual dining is another surprise. With a menu that offers everything from pizzas and pasta to full on breakfasts and an all-day fresh salad bar, Figaro cleverly offers something different for those who don’t want the usual cakes and muffins. (But don’t worry, they have those too if you’re a coffee shop traditionalist). 

The breakfasts offerings are on point. With three options affordably priced at 25QAR, you can match your mood with a choice of Creamy scrambled eggs, Honey glazed turkey bacon and eggs or French mushroom omelets. We tried all three and were not disappointed.

Then of course, comes the real test. The coffee. Proudly boasting a home-grown range of Filipino coffee beans, Figaro delivers a more than satisfying taste in each of their offerings. As a coffee purist, I like my coffee black and no sugar. Boring to some, but to me, it brings out the real taste off coffee, and I can easily say the Americano I tried gave me the coffee fix I needed, and then some.

The hot and cold offerings are as varied as any coffee shop you’re likely to visit, with signature drinks such as their Figaro Frost line, and their most popular item, Green Tea Matcha often selling out.
