Recently there was an "incident" in which three submarine fiber Optic cables were "damaged" in the mediterranean sea. These cables provide support for data/voice/video transmission on internet from Middle East to Europe/West.

So to avoid a mejor colapse in the systems, video is being restricted in some pages as to allow data transmission and keep/maintain communication with the rest of the world. These issues would be fixed by Dec 31st according to Qtel press note on their site.

Most of the Youtube videos were working properly till the internet snag. Now many websites are experiencing problems so wait till they settle the cable issue.
