Another wya todo it, which is the typical home user way.
Is to go to start,
Click control panel or settings
Then in control panel select Users
then a window will open up
either select the user you want, by clicking on it, and then on the left it will say "create password"
or you can create a new user all to gether, by being in the user screen select, create user.
Computer's Administrator or a user with administrator privileges can create/change password for a user.
Right-click on My Computer
Click Manage
Expand Local Users and Groups (Left pane)
Select User
Double-click on the user (Right pane)
