Why is the Youtube application in my Iphone 3GS is not working?

Please help. I tried to open the Youtube application in my Iphone 3GS but a message appear "CANNOT CONNECT TO YOUTUBE". Can anybody help. Thanks.

which iphone are you using2g, 3g or 3GS? and which firmware 3.0 or earlier? is it jailbroken or not? please be more specific in your description of the problem as some times it could be a problem with a specific video on you tube but are you able to search or you can't look at any thins in youtube at all!!

Macky, i am already connected in the internet. All is working except for the Youtube Application.

Dude, you have the answer already! You said "Cannot connect to YouTube...". Connect via Wi-Fi first. You need an Internet connection for it to get running. Enjoy! =)

Additional info:

You can only view videos which you have loaded into your iPhone/iPod Touch. Videos from that YouTube application is streaming on-line. Have fun! =)

More than likely it is the same issue that plagued the first generation until a fix was found. This is the issue with Jailbroken Iphones! Some stuff just does not work anymore.

So Really you just have to wait for a fix.
