whats the problem

Hi Folks,

I have an internet USB (Q-tel) of unlimited usage (QR. 320/- a month) when i use it at work on my personal laptop its quite ok and fast ( not so fast though) but when i use it at home (muaither area - not the interior, kinda behind aspire) its so slow, i can barely log on to msn, but no way i can browse.

Any solution? is it coz of the area?

it could be due to poor signal strength - Jakula89 suggested you move to open area. also, signal strength depends on your equipment's distance to the nearest tower.

or it could also be the type of band available in your area. check if it is (from fastest to slowest) 3.5G, 3G, EDGE, or GPRS.
