use of flash drive in my computer.

I have internet connection.I used my flash drive,but i can open only msword that i saved in my flash drive.i can not open the data i taken from another computer.my friends are saying i have to instal ADOBE ACROBAT DOCUMENT.How i can install it? To whom i will approch for this?

First of all we need to know what type of files (besides .doc files) you are trying to use/open.

Since your friends are telling you to go for acrobat then my guess is you have .pdf files othe Flash drive.

If you google for acrobat reader you may find many choices to free download the software.

also try this http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Once downloaded just double click on the file and follow the step-by-step directions given...after a few minutes...voila!! now you can open the .pdf files.
