It is because of the submarine cable cut in the Mediterranean sea. It will take around minimum 10 days to be repaired as per news.

It's a cable cut in Sea. Getting repaired, maybe by 31st the net will be back to track.

The way i see it, Q-tel is just fine.. Just yesterday it was in the news that there were submarine cables in the Mediterranean Sea which got hit and it would take up to the 31st of December to be able to get them to full efficiency..

If you're complaining that the internet is slow with regards to downloads, this is probably because your mirrors for downloads are located in Europe or across the Atlantic.
