Speedtouch and Windows 7 compatability

I recently got windows 7 ultimate and when i tried to connect the Speedtouch modem provided by Qtel, I got the Blue Screen Of Death (windows crashed)!

I believe the problem lies with the driver of the modem. Does Qtel provide any assistance on this matter?

Any suggestions as to how to setup the internet connection on a windows 7 pc and what drivers to use??

just go through this webiste and download driver for vista that can work also for windows 7

I found a temporary solution for this problem, but it involves reinstalling the drivers every time I restart the PC...

The QTEL modem has no relation with that problem.

Its either your unit it not compatible with windows seven, drivers (motherboard and chipset) is not installed properly or there is a corrupt file in your windows installation.

Windows7 itself will tell you what is the real problem. Check in the Action Centre of Windows7 and find out if there is a problem with the driver or not.
