S VIDEO TO LCD TV

its the VGA interface gives you the desired quality on your LCD tv, superior Quality is attained by using the HDMI interface. new laptops come with HDMI but i dont assume you have a HDMI but only S video. S video is intended to connect the CRT tvs earlier, so for a decent quality VGA interface is the solution.

yesterday in Sofitel shopping i happen to come across a cable with VGA one end (to LCD tv) and the other ends is S video (to your computer). try that cable, its only 20 or 30 i guess. all the best.

there are few things to get better video playback. ur display, media player & the video media itself. if u want the best result, u should have the best display, the best player & the best media. ur sony lcd tv is good enough, the best commercial video media is Blue-ray media, so the best media player should be Blue-ray player complete with the sound processing system. the best video interface nowadays is HDMI & for audio use digital optical interface. then u will be happy for the result. u won't have a best audio-video quality with ur system now

I'm assuming that your LCD TV has VGA, HDMI input.. You might as well change your graphics card, buy a Graphics card with a HDMI or DVI output. if you bought the Graphics card with DVI output then get the cable with HDMI-DVI, or if VGA Card has HDMI output then much better, use HDMI-HDMI cable HDMI Cable uses Both Video and Audio Output unlike HDMI-DVI which is only Video
