Problem with IPhone4

Hi,
My IPHone4 is switching off and then turns on by itself every 2 minutes. It is a factory unlocked phone that I have since July last year. Problem started when I connected the phone to ITunes and started downlaod only for IOS 5.0.1 but soon discontinued. Today I downloaded IOS 5.0.1 completly and installed it on the phone but the problem is still there.
Wonder if anyone has an idea of what to do.

try to restore the phone to its factory settings..upgrade to iOS 5 if you wish.!

It is a software problem.

You need to install software all over again.
