please help me to get back my stolen laptop

My laptop had been stolen on 07-06-10 evening from my flat,i came to know with my friends that, if we provide the Serial No of our Laptop we can trace out the same.

If any body knows about this, please help me to get the same. Here is some details for my laptop for your reference.

COLOUR: PURPLE
Serial No: 6H1DXL1
