How can I retrieve my folder saved on desktop?
I experienced that whatever pasted on desktop became highlighted with red and later the computer prompted me to use the system recovery disk and press 'r'" for repair. On doing so all my data got lost, even the MS office also became defunct. Now the user account exist but says unaccessable. I had password for user account. Can i some how retrive the data that i had before repair.
Similarly i lost photos folder also. But photoshop has all those bit cannot retieve from the stored folder. How can i rretrieve this.
Pls help me out.

Reboot and goto to safe mode(press F8) then login using administrator password. Scan your PC using your anti-virus (make sure your virus definition is updated).
Try this..
C:\Documents and Settings\Your user name\Desktop
If it does not work then download a freeware undelete software online.
I hope you could be able to recover your imprtant files.
buddy...not sure if it will help, try going thru DOS option to do it or in safe mode. may be u can do soemthing.
there may be some virus, try using antivirus.
