Error 289 on Ooredoo 4G router

I am posting this as I strugled with this problem and found the solution. It will help someother who gets this problem.

If you have a 4G router provided by Ooredoo (brand Huawei) which has been working fine but now it can't connect to the 4G network anymore. The circular icon on the front is red and you log in the router admin page, it says it can't connect because of error 289.

BELOW IS THE WAY TO FIX IT.

Go to internet browser and type

192.168.8.1

User: Ooredooadmin

Pw: adminOoredoo

Then go to

Internet option

APN management

Add

Profile name: WLL

APN: wll

Submit

Then go again

Internet option

Network connection

Select WLL

Submit

It will solve the issue
