Email is not working at Nokia E75 in Qatar???

I bought a Nokia E75 yesterday. Neither my Yahoo mail nor the business email accounts are not working on this phone. I called Qtel to ask whether a subscription is needed or not. The reply was 'Yes - 50 QAR per month fee...' and he added: '...but it doesn't support E75 since it's a new phone, so if you will subscribe, it will be for nothing since the E75 is not supported'

If this is the case, Nokia disappointed me really really hard!

Can anybody tell me how to receive emails with this phone? Or I have to admit that I donated 1800 QAR to Nokia?
