Carrefour is cheaper. And don't worry about after sales service, as no retailer offers after sales service. This contract has been given to Reddington qatar LLC. I think Reddington Qatar is the Service center for HP/Compaq, Acer, Toshiba and the lot except Dell. If you want to buy dell find out who provides after sales service.

Carrefour doesn’t have any after sales service even though they are cheaper in prices.. jarir is just ok with their prices but they don’t have large range as PCone does in Qatar ..

PCone is the biggest IT retailer in Qatar with wide range to select from..And they have in-store service center where you can fix your problems on spot if u have any.. And they really competitive in pricing too.. Try them out.. They are located next to Midmac Bridge...

Carrefour is cheaper than Jarir is cheaper than PC1. Carrefour has rubbish salesmen and after sales service. Dell dealers in Doha are Computer Arabia. Not sure if prices are good enough there.

most of them are correct carrefour is cheaper but...got my first laptop (toshiba) from jarir, 1 week before expiration of warranty, the hard disc failed i went to their service center and they replaced it..no questions asked. i got my new laptop recently and nothing can pay the peace of mind they are giving. my laptop is almost open 24/7 because i know i have a warranty card in my hand. and the salespeople are very helpful also. goodluck

Carrefour (Villagio)and Giant Stores in Hyat Plazza has the cheapest price in Qatar on Laptops.

Jarrir charges almost QR.500 excess compared to Carrefour and Giant on each brand.

Go for Carrefour and Giant....

When it comes to Identical LapTops;

Then Carrefour is cheaper,

yet that does not mean that Carrefour provides the best choices.[Note: what you buy from them has warrenty].

If you are looking for acertain brand with special specificatins, you might not find it at carrefour...

So what you pay for is what you get according to what you want whether in Jarrir , Carrefour or any other place.

We can say one thing: they both are the most popular and saffest to buy from.

:-)

Carrefour may be cheaper but definitely Jarir has the edge over "before-sales" and "after-sales" service. You ask a Carrefour salesman about technical matters and most probably you won't get a satisfactory answer. Assuming you get hold of a salesman! Would QRs.20.00 difference be enough for your headache?

well ICGURU, we cant compare your Dell price to carrefour since they're not selling DELL brand. As to my observation, Carrefour is cheaper than Jarir but the latter has better Technical Support and Service if you have trouble with your device.
