Access to iTunes store & apps in Qatar

I think I know the answer to this already but anyway....

Just splashed out on an Ipad2 and was looking forward to downloading music/books from the UK iTunes & Apps store.

Since the only credit card I have is with a local Qatar bank, my Apple account has to reflect a Qatar billing address. This means I can only access the Qatar iTunes/Apps stores which are very limited.

The obvious would be to get a UK credit card but I've found out you can't do that if you aren't resident there.

Does anyone know of a work around?

buy a prepaid visa credit card from itunes-giftcards.com etc

What I did was to register a UK address (Iused a family friend's address) and I ticked the box that said' no payment' or something similar.Then to buy apps I use an itunes gift card which I bought in the UK. Hope that makes sense.
