"Show you care, be aware"- Breast cancer programme kicks off
Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of the villainous disease, cancer.
Although we consider it to be quite common and know atleast somebody who has had it, there are so many things about it that we aren’t aware of.
Invisibobble breast cancer awareness is a month long campaign that strives to educate the public about the real seriousness of the disease.
In association with the Qatar Cancer Society, this campaign has begun with a lot of support extended towards it by some major companies.
Several large organizations such as Curves, Marks & Spencer, Virgin Megastore, VLCC, Qatar Professional Women’s Network (QPWN), Monoprix, Royal Plaza, the Gulf mall and the Gate Mall have hooked hands with Invisibobble and are making it possible for the cause to reach out to the community with the slogan “Show you care, be aware”.
To commemorate this step, a limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness invisibobble is being made available until the 31st of October 2015. The product is perfectly pink with the BCA ribbon looped inside the hair ring to match the breast cancer theme.
A portion of the funds raised through this campaign will be given to the breast cancer department of the Qatar Cancer Society and to create awareness among the public.
This campaign is in line with the invisibobble global support campaign towards Breast Cancer Now, one of the world’s largest breast cancer research organizations, supporting them to improve early diagnosis and developing new treatments for all types of breast cancer.
Anybody who cares to join could do so, in support of the “Show you care, be aware” programme.
