Hamad International Airport (HIA), Qatar’s gateway to the world, will be introducing a payment structure to the airport’s Long-Term Car Park by the end of April.

In its constant endeavour to provide improved customer experience, HIA will also be expanding services at the car park.

Customers will be able to pay by cash or credit card upon exit at one of the payment kiosks at the car park.

Any cars parked in the long-term car park before paid parking is activated will not be subject to fees.

The airport management has advised its customers to refrain from parking for more than 60 days, which will lead to legal action in accordance with airport procedure.

HIA strives to provide its customers with the best travel experience possible, starting even before they arrive at the check-in counter.

In parallel with the introduction of parking fees, HIA will be increasing services in its Long-Term Car Park.

Customers will now be able to enjoy a fully secured parking area with space for 2,540 vehicles, dedicated parking staff ready to assist with any customer needs and a regular shuttle service to the main terminal every 15-20 minutes. Further amenities will also be introduced in the coming months.

HIA Car Park Management recommends that passengers arrive to the long-term car park well in advance in order to ensure a relaxing journey and to avoid any incidents or delays that might result in them being late for their flights.
