Personal loan defaulter and HBsAg positive
Hi,
I have taken loan in 2010 from one of the bank in qatar, During end of 2010 i was given NOC and my visa was cancelled and i was about to join ministry. During the process of my new RP i had a medical test and was found that I was HbsAg positive and was sent home for treatment, When i was in my home town, I got a call from the bank collection agents in my home town and i said the entire scenario and they asked me to send the proofs and i had sent them all the proofs. Since then i did not get any phones from them. The treament took long time and i was cured just 3 months back (2016) and i was jobless all these years. Now i'm planning to visit qatar to hunt a job and i have a fear that i will be arrested at the airport. I have intetion to hunt a job and then repay my loan. Can anyone guide me.

As many said here, the only solution is to talk to Bank.
Meantime, try to go for a detailed medical checkup, because there are many cases that candidates fails in medical even after these kind of sicks are cured. I am not discouraging, but advising you to take necessary steps before proceeding.
Also, be careful that; even if the Bank allow you to enter Qatar, they may impose a travel ban from exiting the Country until you settle the liabilities.
I took loan 6 yrs back but was not in situation to repay because i had no job and was looking over my health because i had HbsAg and it is a life threatening disease. Now as i was cured now thought to look a job and get cured.
You took the loan and for the last 6 years you didn't think or try to repay the loan. It came to your mind when u intend to come back.
Do you guess how much will be the accumulated interest as of date? Definitely, there will be a court case and you may caught at the Airport. Better try to speak to Bank. They only can provide you a solution.
Write to the bank and see what they have to say. Possibly, they may give you a time limit. But then, if you do not get a job and fail to pay, the situation my turn against you.
On the other hand, there is a "philosopher" who regularly writes at Qatar Living. Just wait and see if he has any of his "wonderful" solutions that he usually provides in such cases.

Why do you want to risk coming back and possibly getting arrested ? Will you be able to repay the loan once / if you get a job ?
The first option is to apply for a visa and see if it is accepted.
