i wld think it is not exactly illegal, but not socio-culturally accepted. I wld however not flaunt it in some places, and Ramadan is around the corner...

why not just use a biro and put on something everyday on your amr or whatever area of your body you fancy, and also get rid of it whenever you get bored with it! what the hell are tattoos for anyway?

wow.. i logged on QL after ages and i feel like a retard... but anyways, i got me a tat and i have had no problems thus far... this time when i go back ima get me some extensions to it... yeh people stare at you, but that is in awe i guess...

Its ur body and der aint any problem havin a tatoo work done. Just tht in Islam, its not allowed. And u wudnt find a tatoo parlor in Qatar. Der r loads of people who hav tatoos. I myself got one on my back covering my right shoulder blade.

Its forbitten in Islam .. but Qatar laws dosent have any objections on any1 wearing tatoos..

Nope,you can have tattoo's, but they are forbidden in Islam. I have heard there are some hush hush tattoo parlors here but I have no idea where. I have seen a lot of Westerners here all tatts, people just stare a bit as I think they are facinated.
