Mondrian Doha’s dazzling debut
Mondrian Doha has opened its doors for the first time in the Middle East. The famed luxury hotel brand offers a variety of stylish and distinct options to cater to guests, diners and event planners’ needs.
The lavish hotel features seven custom restaurants and bars, with some of the finest food and drinks menus, designed by international chefs and featuring both regional and international cuisine
Mondrian Doha’s seven eateries include CUT by Wolfgang Puck, bringing one of the renowned chef’s concepts to Qatar for the first time. Japanese Chef, Masaharu Morimoto, has also introduced Morimoto Doha—the first eponymous Morimoto outlet to open in the Middle East. The hotel also hosts a Magnolia Bakery located in the lobby, and a number of other first-to-market concepts including Walima, a Qatari inspired restaurant.
Mondrian Doha also offers a grand and spacious wedding and multi-purpose ballroom that can hold up to 1,500 guests. The Moonstone Ballroom has ornate plaster ceiling domes with crystal chandeliers and state-of-the-art technology which includes a fully functional technical room, drop down screens and projectors.
This majestic ballroom features a 24 karat gold private, panoramic elevator that takes the bride and groom or VIPs directly to and from what is perhaps the most decadent VIP bridal suite in the world.
The 270-room property gives guests the choice to select between five room categories, including penthouse suites, studio suites, one and two bedroom suites, and a range of standard guest rooms—all of which share the universal design details of Swarovski crystal chandeliers and sumptuous bespoke furniture in hues to mirror the desert.
Mondrian Doha is also home to the striking ESPA, the first ESPA spa in the region, one of the largest spas in Qatar, and the largest ESPA in the world. The spa is a perfect spot to host ladies’ henna parties, bridal showers and birthday celebrations. It has its own Spa Café located within the female area that offers a wide selection of meals throughout the day, as well as decadent cakes and afternoon teas provided exclusively by Magnolia Bakery.
The hotel property boasts a standalone meeting floor with meeting and conference facilities, encompassing seven meeting spaces and over 500 square meters of function and conference space, catering for events from 10 to 300 guests.
The multi-service venues can be configured according the needs of each event. Sophisticated design elements make up the meeting spaces with a full service center, wireless high-speed internet access throughout the hotel, as well as production, wardrobe, and make-up and casting rooms to service not only entertainment events, but also large-scale weddings.
Mondrian Doha, is located next to Lagoona Mall in the West Bay area and acts as a gateway to the new Lusail City development.
