Do you have an artsy side but haven't found your crowd in Qatar yet? The Fire Station is currently hosting AIR Exhibition 2, which features the work of local artists produced during their nine-month long Fire Station Residence Program.

The exhibition provides local artists with a platform to showcase their work, create opportunities for them to mingle with other artists and connect with art professionals in Qatar.

Here, you will be able to see the creative developments of each artist over nine months, as well as the different backgrounds of each individual and how it influenced their work. If you are interested in working on your art, this is a chance to learn about the process and how to take your first steps towards artistic expression.

The exhibition will run only until August 19, so make your way down there while there is still time. During your visit to the Fire Station, you can even grab a coffee or a meal at Café#999 if you are eager to get into deeper artistic discussions with the people you are bound to meet.

Keep an eye out for the different classes they offer on an almost monthly basis. A Marbling Art with Paper & Silk class is scheduled for September so check it out at http://www.firestation.org.qa/
