Celebrate 'Eid at Home' with Red Apple's 4-day virtual event
With Eid Al-Fitr fast approaching, you may find yourself wondering how to celebrate the special occasion this year.
Amid preventive and precautionary measures in place against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Eid Al-Fitr 2020 will be quite different from what we have experienced in past years.
While the government is urging the public to stay at home, Red Apple Events and Media has figured a way to bring you the fun and entertainment to your house. This Eid, we want you to just chill at home and be safe while enjoying the four-day thriller, Eid at Home Party.
Red Apple has partnered with Qatar Living and will be keeping you entertained with a series of non-stop events every evening from 6pm onwards. They are ensuring it will be an interactive session with loads of give aways for the audience. People can tune in with families and friends from around the world.
The entertainment is a mix of all genres ranging from Ghazals to Live DJ Sets, talk shows to celebrity interviews, Kids Live Music to Teenage Rock festivals and so much more. They have something for everyone and it will be streamed on our youtube channel redapple tv and the talk shows will be on Instagram.
The organizers have identified the best of local talents who are finalists of Red Apple's ongoing online music and dance reality shows.
Day 1 of Eid will kick off with a kids special music and dance show performed by the talented Aaradhya Kalgutkar, Aaryan Nair, Drishti Jain, Prathishta B, Prathishta E and Shreeya Pradhan. This will be followed by a Ghazal Episode called Mehfil featuring Bhargav Thaker and Rajeev Gandhi.
Day 2 will kick off with Antakshari Semi Finals followed by Teen Rock featuring Ria Narotra, Sanjna Gopalakrishnan and Varun Advani.
Day 3 will feature the finale of Antakshari. All three days will feature Musical Talk Shows with special guests Shirin Latif - a singer from UK, Melrick D Souza from India and playback singer Harib Hussain from Qatar. Doha's most wanted DJ Irshad will be doing a late night bollywood dance music set people can groove to sitting at home.
Day 4 will be the finale and will be star studded with celebrity performers and will kick off with tribute to Raafi Saab featuring Fahad a singer from London who has multiple accolades for showcasing tribute to the legend.
