Xena / Chealsea,
Need your help regarding my cat. I m brushing my cat almost everyday but it seems she is shredding more n more day by day. Worst thing is, as soon as i turn on the AC, I can see her hairs flying in the air. Is there any solution to it??? please help.
Sorry, just got to work and saw this.
As MaryC says, it is probably seasonal, however, if she really is shedding more than normal, check her food.
Sometimes, if you change the food, or the formula for the usual food has been changed, this can happen too.
I find that my dogs and cats shed in winter, as they are always in the AC in summer, so they get their winter coat then. Summer coat comes in winter.
Hair is the bain of my life too, I just don't bother any more and just use lint rollers on my clothes when I have to go somewhere important, otherwise I don't bother... I have animals and I am proud of it;-p
Milkybar those stuffs are kid stuffs and of no use...:(
Sid buddy m at office at the moment and will leave after a short time...:)
Back to the topic before BNB removes her torn sandles and throw at me...:( why not u consult any Vet might be she is short of some nutrients/calcium/irons ? :(
Online on Saturday???
To what do we owe this honour?
Rizks please buy Hairgrow or Regain from the Pharmacy!
There is No cure for Baldness and no one knows better than me.....? :(
If you can find a solution you could sell it for millions :-)
Best you can do is keep brushing her daily - I have found it easier to remove hair from furniture with a damp cloth - wipe the chair down with a clean, damp rag - the hair will roll up into the rag.
As for hair in the air, I guess at least daily vacuuming will help but it won't eliminate them.
marry, i understand but do u have any solution to clear her hairs from home. I m using lint rollers on furnitures but even after that her hairs are in the air....
Usually shedding takes place naturally 2x year (at least it's heavier then). With the recent temperature changes, kitty is shedding "winter" coat. It should ease up after a couple of weeks. You can look forward to it again in October/November when her summer coat starts to shed and her winter coat comes in.
Joys of having a pet.
yeah it seems, they shed more during summer...and summer has already started...now i m scared abt the situation in peak summer.... so need solution.....
