This happened to me 3 times already, within the span of 10 days. I am not using my mobile but the balance amount of my phone is decreasing. Do you experience the same?
Actually i have been facing with vodafone worse than this problem , and everytime i call they give me different excuse .
anytime i try to call anybody , i have to waste credit cause i cant hear the voice of whom i'm calling and than i have to close and than call back again so they can hear me . i changed 3 mobiles because of this issue thinking that it's from the mobile , than i discovered that it's from VODAFONE and no use the same stupid still happening.

maybe you are connected to the net... and its downloading some thing? ... some software update? or something?

No...It’s a total loss
its not due to Vodafone, just change setting as Access Point, Data & deactivate Automatic browsing etc.
i use Facebook only which is free of charge...no other connection is made. thanks.
Chatterbox is probably right I had the same issue in the UK, it was my fault by staying connected to the internet
