i stayed for over a month only and work there during the ASEAN games in doha. and i only did check my old passport only last month when the qatar embassy ask me to submit a photocopy of stamped white residence sticker as their requirement to issue a qatar police clearance. i called the agency who deployed me but they said their data based are no longer in their system because that was 2006 ago and most of the hiring agent at that time were no longer working on them. and they can't even give an accurate information of why i don't have that white sticker stamped on my passport. only i have on my passport was the date of entry and date of exit.
Angelo I agree with u on that for other countries. But I'm particularly talking about Qatar. I came here with a business visa and it wasn't stamped on my passport. When I went to UAE recently, the visit visa was on a separate sheet of paper.
yan1017 That is the visa sticker given to people who stay in Qatar for a longer period (for work, family-sponsored, etc.) You said that you stayed in Qatar for a about over a month so my guess is that you were given a business visa or something for a temporary stay which didn't need to be stamped on your visa.
i am referring to a qatar Residence sticker stamped on passport when a person will enter qatar. because requested a police clearance from qatar embassy but they can not process because they require Qatar White residence sticker which i don't have. i've been in doha for about over a month of stay nov 7, 2006 to dec 18, 2006 and they did not issue that sticker.
so i am asking who ever knows how's that residence sticker issued to a person entering qatar. how many months or years should a person could stay to qatar to have a white residence sticker.

you were just a visitor here, then why should Qatar give you a PCC?
boy-next-door - all countries stamp a visa in your PP either for a day, or longer.
yan1017 have you got a new PP? You would have had a visa stamped in your PP for however short a stay. You would have a stamp of some sort
