yes cheru, they have nest. i don't know what other things they are doing with the love birds... anyways, i just shared their experience. :) thanks for the info, i'll tell them as well. :p

gloomy. Love birds will lay eggs if your friend provide the necessary nest for them. If they are in a big cage provide them something to use as their nest to lay eggs and light should be minimum in the side of the entrance otherwise they will never lay eggs. They will be happy if the top part of the cage is dark where the nest is fixed.

if you have big family then turkey would be better choice ;) but seriously if any bird can survive in the souq then it can survive in your house.

If you're buying a bird as a pet, then surely it will be indoors and within a temperature controlled environment..

clearly they didnt make enough love.

one of my friend bought love birds in souq waqif last year, the seller told him the female will lay egg in no less than a year. unfortunately, until now, no eggs laid yet.

btw, they stay inside the house. :)
