Where to buy Iraqi Dinars?
Hi guys!
I've heard so much about the potential of the Iraqi Dinars and am wondering if it's locally available for exchange in banks or any money exchange companies? It's available in Dubai -- I think it should be available here as well, though I've tried Al Mana and Al Fardan Exchange, and they didn't have it. Any advice? I'd like to canvass around before asking my friend in Dubai to buy for me.
Iraqi Dinar is very real, but the pitch many Dinar dealers try to send your way is far from reality and designed to get you buy from them. Some of these dealers even go as far as to explain that they are trusted by the government and supply you with a document to reinforce this illusion.
First, the US government requires a business (or anyone for that matter) to register with them when selling any kind of currency. Once you register, the US Government will send you a letter confirming your registration. IT DOES NOT mean that they trust or vouch for the company, only that they complied with the law.

When did these rumors about potential of iraqi dinar start circulating? I bought some 2 years ago and that investment is 50% down.
I'd be interested to if there is potential for any appreciation in its value.

I know where to buy iraqi dinars. If anyone is interested to buy just PM me.
I agree with Novita at the moment such currency is not in circulation but once maybe in a year or so you can see they will be back strongly and maybe to its normal value.
TRY WITH AL FARDAN EXCHANGE NEAR SOUQ. PROBABLY THEY HAVE IRAQI DINNARS.
Tried that before ...big rumour in Indonesia that you will make tons of money by buying Iraqi dinnar ... Been around in main money changer but none of them deal with the currency.
